These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Word K.O. (the "Service") provided by Eudamonia AS, organisasjonsnummer 991 784 098, registered at St. Marie gate 47, 1706 Sarpsborg, Norway.
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Word K.O. is an arcade-style word dueling game (Anagram, Twistle, Rhyme Battle, Triathlon) playable via web browser at wordko.io and via native applications. The Service is offered "as is" and may change, be suspended, or be discontinued at our discretion.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. Users in jurisdictions with a higher minimum age for online services must meet that threshold.
Some features may require an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Deletion removes your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax records).

Violations may result in warnings, rating penalties, temporary suspensions, or permanent account termination, at our discretion.
All content of the Service — software, design, game mechanics, names, logos, sound, and artwork — is owned by Eudamonia AS or its licensors and is protected by Norwegian and international intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial entertainment.
The word lists used by the Service (ENABLE1, CMU Pronouncing Dictionary, Norvig frequency corpus) are public-domain or CC0-licensed and remain the property of their respective sources.
If we offer purchases or subscriptions (cosmetics, season passes, King's Pass, etc.), they are processed by the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or another payment provider. Their terms and refund policies apply to those transactions.
Norwegian and EU consumer-protection laws provide a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases under certain conditions. Once digital content has been delivered (e.g., a cosmetic is unlocked), this right may be waived as permitted by the angrerettloven.
The Service may show advertising provided by Google AdSense, Google AdMob, or similar networks. Personalized advertising is shown only with your consent. See our Privacy Policy for details.
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eudamonia AS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) EUR 50.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Norwegian mandatory consumer law.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for legitimate operational reasons. Upon termination, sections 5, 8, 9, 11, and 12 survive.
These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively by the Norwegian courts, with the District Court of Sarpsborg as the legal venue, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules that may give you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
